Destinations

The world is a BIG place and with so many amazing destinations to visit here are just a few of Sarah's favourites

Dubai

Best scenery anywhere, experience the time of your life

Dubai is the only place in the world I have been lucky enough to visit where you can sunbathe in the morning by a crystal pool or the sparkling ocean, before skiing in REAL snow in the afternoon at Ski Dubai, before going off in an adventure on a 4 x 4 to the desert to watch the most stunning sunset!

It really does have something for all travellers, whether you like the hustle of city living, with the expansive malls and shopping centres, to chilling out in one of the many beautiful hotels.  You will find all major chains here including Hilton, Fairmont, Radisson, Jumeriah, Wyndham, Movenpick, Ibis, Crowne Plaza and The Address Hotels and Resorts to name a few!

Plus don't forget you have Dubai Park & Resorts, as well as Atlantis to visit, so you better make sure with Sarah that you do your planning!

Thailand

Stunning Rainforests, Beaches, World Heritage and More!

Amazing Thailand really is one of the most stunning places I have ever visited!   Phuket province is located in southern Thailand. It is the biggest Island of Thailand and sits on the Andaman sea. The nearest province to the north is Phang-nga and the nearest provinces to the east are Phang-nga and Krabi.

Phuket has a large Chinese influence, so you will see many Chinese shrines and Chinese Restaurants around the city. A Chinese Vegetarian Festival is held there every year. While the Chinese community is quite big, there are many other ethnicities bringing all their traditions and festivals from all over the world to Phuket.

Being a big island, Phuket is surrounded by many magnificent Beaches such as Rawai, Patong, Karon, Kamala, Kata Yai, Kata Noi, and Mai Khao. Laem Phromthep viewpoint is said to feature the most beautiful sunsets in Thailand.

It isn’t all just beaches though, there is also fantastic classical architecture such as the Goom Restaurant. That and the very welcome atmosphere and the famous Phuket NIGHTLIFE, you can see why the island is a hotspot for tourists in Thailand.

Key Tips

 The beaches of the south coast are typically crowded, while the north is far more tranquil.

 All the major beaches (such as Patong beach, Kata beach, Karon Beach, Nai Han beach, Mai Khao beach, Nai Yang beach) offer instruction and equipment for diving, Snorkelling, windsurfing and sailing. Don't forget to notice the red flag! before swim.

So to finish. From vibrant Phuket with its beautiful beaches and buzzing nightlife to the quiet tranquillity of the rainforests and meeting the beautiful elephants at Elephant Hills, it really does give you a trip to remember!

It's also exceptional value for money!

The Canary Islands

Many landmarks you should visit, rich in history and traditions

I have personally visited Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria. Fuerteventura is on my list!

Every island can offer something for you!

Gran Canaria - The main picture is of the beautiful beach at Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, and did you know?  The sand is brought in from the Caribbean no less and its stunning! Whether you visit Puerto Morgan or "Little Venice" affectionally named by locals via the water taxi from Puerto Rico for the weekly flea market, to experience the magic of a film set with Sioux City, or how about a visit to the islands fantastic Water Park?

Lanzarote also has something to offer, the smaller picture is of the beautiful Puerto Del Carmen marina, but there is a lovely promenade to stroll down in the evening, and a plentiful of restaurants with every taste catered for including Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Indian and of course English!  From paella to bangers and mash its all on offer! A pint of the local beer can cost at little as 2.50 Euro! Of course there are plenty of other resorts including Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca.  Also, you can't go all that way without visiting Timanfaya National Park and the volcano!

The town of Yaiza is located on the edge of the area that was covered by the volcanic eruptions of 1730 and 1736. In fact the main chronicle of the eruptions was told by Yaiza’s then parish priest, Andrés Lorenzo Curbelo. This is one of the best preserved towns of the Canary Island archipelago, and has received several prizes for its beauty, much appreciated by visitors as they walk along the very well-kept streets and among houses decorated with a variety of plants and flowers. Opposite the Town Hall is the parish church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, patron saint of the town, whose holiday is celebrated on 8th September. Yaiza stands out among the island’s towns for its well-preserved landscape and its respect for traditional architecture.

Tenerife - Everyone knows this island and the party resort of Playa De Las Americas, but there is so much more to it that this!  Visit neighbouring resorts Los Cristianos for a more chilled out vibe, or how about Costa Adeje for a meal with a view in one of their stunning restaurants.  Plus you also have other resorts such as Golf De Sur and Los Gigantes with its stunning backdrop!  Though there are TWO airports on the island you will more than likely route into the South which is the main airport.

Here's a few more too!

The world is a big place, but hopefully this page has given you lots of ideas!  If you are thinking of visiting somewhere we have not mentioned on this website, then we can still help so why not call us FREE and let us help you plan your perfect trip.  Don't forget we do cover the UK too!

Santorini

This is THE picture postcard island in beautiful Greece, above is Oia.  This is one of the most pictured villages in the world, along with its neighbour Thira.  Here is where you can go cruise ship spotting as this is where all the liners come in to drop off their guests via tender to explore.  However be aware of high prices in both villages, you are paying for the views!  Look at staying at a neighbouring resort such as Kamari or Imerovigli. The island has a good bus service and its easy to visit Oia and Thira for a day, but do make sure you stay for the sunset it really is spectacular, but get to Oia EARLY as there are HUNDREDS of people all doing the same thing!

Disneyland Paris

From thrill rides to family adventures and fun for the little ones, there's plenty to explore at Disneyland® Paris. Watch in awe as Disney stories come alive across 5 magical lands.

From the enchanting Sleeping Beauty Castle that's the centrepiece of Disneyland® Park, to the fun of the Wild West, right through to boldly venturing to the edge of the galaxy, you'll find a world of adventure and imagination in Disneyland Park.

Each themed land offers a mix of rides, adventures and plenty of sparkle as you mingle with Princes and Princesses, board a pirate ship, hop in a space craft and more.

Malta & Gozo

This truly is a stunning island full of culture, history and simply beautiful people.  Enjoy 3,000 hours of sunshine per year! The English are well loved by the Maltese and it shows in their welcome! From the buzzling resorts of Qawra and St Julian's, through to the stunning beach of St Pauls Bay & Mellieha Bay plus lots more there really is something for everyone!  Visit the film set of Popeye whilst there, and you simply must visit Valetta the islands capital with so much history you won't know where to look first, as they have a great many UNISCO World Heritage Sites.  You may even see a couple of the cruise liners in dock too!

Following on from beautiful Malta, take a trip to the Blue Lagoon on the way to the smaller sister Gozo.  Visit Victoria her capital, take in the sights, and grab a light lunch in one of the many cafes.   Here's a tip though: the Blue Lagoon gets very busy and sunbathing can be at a premium so don't be too fussy but its worth the trip!

The Balearic Islands

With its four islands Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca and Formentera, these islands have something for all.

This is one of the most popular destinations in the western Mediterranean, and you’ll soon find out why. You'll find enchanting coves, gorgeous sunsets and lush natural landscapes. There are many ways to enjoy the islands: relaxing in an atmosphere of well-deserved peace and quiet, or partying until all hours as you enjoy the islands’ wild nightlife.

These are places where you wander through the streets of fishing villages, discover outstanding natural landscapes or enjoy a range of water sports. Minorca and Formentera, two small corners of paradise in the Mediterranean, are absolute havens of tranquillity.

Majorca and Ibiza are the two largest islands. The main attractions in Majorca include its capital, Palma, the Cabrera National Park and the mountains of the Sierra de Tramontana. Ibiza, meanwhile, has been declared a World Heritage site by the UNESCO for its rich biodiversity and cultural attractions, which include the Phoenician archaeological site of Sa Caleta, the necropolis of Puig des Molins and the historic centre of Eivissa. What's more, the island of Ibiza is known to party-goers all over the world for its exhilarating nightlife, where the beat of the music can be heard all night long.
